Panorama do Projeto Adote uma Escola: estudo de caso nas escolas do município de Pelotas-RS

Resumo A necessidade de promover a gestão dos resíduos sólidos no município Pelotas-RS permitiu uma parceria do órgão Saneamento com instituições ensino município, através Projeto Adote Uma Escola (AUE), visando avançar na coleta seletiva recicláveis nos diferentes bairros da cidade. Haja vista o tempo atuação AUE, objetivo foi realizar avaliação sobre situação AUE em relação ao gerenciamento 62 rede pública e privada. Foi realizada pesquisa quantitativa exploratório-descritiva, questionário estruturado. Os resultados revelaram crescimento significativo (teste Qui-Quadrado P < 0,05) número escolas, evidenciando que as escolas fundamental se destacaram trabalhar temática sólidos. Além segregação inadequada resíduos, carências infraestrutura existência lacunas realização práticas educação ambiental nas escolas. Considera-se que, apesar das limitações, projeto contribui para melhoria auxilia seletiva, além fortalecer políticas públicas meio ambiente educação, auxiliando processo formação cidadãos construção sustentabilidade ambiental.
